Wild Dog Wins NHS Creative Award

The Annual Report designed by Wild Dog Design for the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse (NTA) has won the award for Best Annual Report in its category at The Nexus Annual Report and Primary Care Prospectus Awards. The annual awards have been running for 12 years and are highly regarded in the industry.

The photographic style was set to reflect the NTA's brief of ‘Treatment Journeys’ – it is about real people treating and coping with the very real issues of drug addiction. Utilising expressive black and white photography, the images complement the strong bright colours and use of powerful typographic quotations – making the report eye catching and stylish.

"The whole design concept was one of balance" Michael C Hughes, Managing Director of Wild Dog says "First, we wanted to capture the human angle of the great work the NTA do, whilst secondly producing a quality publication that people would want to read."

Iris Stern, Communication Manager at the NTA says "It is first about capturing the message and then delivering it in a way people will listen to – and Wild Dog Design managed to achieve this perfectly."
