Kineo and The Oxford Group reveal the realities of Blended Learning in 2013

Kineo, the leading learning technology solutions provider, has partnered with global training company, The Oxford Group, in a new research project that reveals the realities of blended learning in organisations in 2013. The initial results will be shared in a free webinar taking place on Tuesday 2nd July at 09.00 BST. A second webinar screening will also take place on Wednesday 10th at 16.00 BST.

‘Blended learning’ is a term that has been used in the elearning industry for more than a decade. But the reality of a blended approach can often be online learning tagged onto traditional classroom training.

Kineo Director, Mark Harrison, comments: ‘Blended learning is back with a vengeance. In fact, it never really went away. But with new forms of collaboration, delivery and engagement now open to us, we’re keen to share how the new learning architect makes sense of the options available and designs blended learning for optimum results.’

He continues, ‘In conjunction with The Oxford Group, we’ve researched the new and different methods of blending that are available to us and explored successful examples of blends that are working in organisations today. Models like 70/20/10 are often discussed, but understanding how the principles can apply to designing blended programmes in practice isn’t always obvious. We’re looking forward to discussing all of these areas and sharing some practical tips in our live online session.’

The free webinars will cover:

• What are people saying about blended learning today?

• What’s creating the most buzz at the moment?

• What’s really happening out there beyond the hype: How are L&D people actually using blended learning at the moment?

• What’s it really like to design a blend? Hear from textile giant, Coats, about their experience of designing a blended development program for managers worldwide

The webinars will also explore the highlights from the recent survey run by The Oxford Group and Kineo.
