Three’s the magic number at Midnight

Leading local PR agency Midnight Communications has been shortlisted for three peer-judged awards at the forthcoming CIPR PRide Awards 2019.

The consultancy has been shortlisted for Best Use of Media Relations and Best Travel, Leisure or Tourism Campaign, both for its stellar work on behalf of Arundel Castle.

Rising star and PR Executive Emma Hynes has made the final shortlist for Outstanding Young Communicator. Emma joined Midnight’s graduate training programme in February 2018 and quickly progressed, supporting a variety of B2B and B2C campaigns.

Long recognised by the industry as a public relations powerhouse, Midnight was founded in 1995, with a management buyout by Flo Powell and Alex Hankinson at the beginning of 2018.

“We’re thrilled that the Chartered Institute of Public Relations has again recognised us and our staff for our contribution to our profession,” said Flo, who spearheaded the Arundel Castle campaign. “To be shortlisted for Best Use of Media Relations shows our commitment to building trusted and valuable relationships with journalists, something we take incredibly seriously, especially in the era of fake news!

“We’re over the moon that our Emma is up for Outstanding Young Communicator. Midnight has always had an excellent reputation as a graduate employer, and Emma joins a cohort of Outstanding Young Communicator finalists that spans well over a decade.”

The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding talents and achievements of public relations practitioners across the UK’s regions and nations. They are the most prestigious and rigorously judged awards of their kind. Midnight Communications has been recognised for its innovative work across the South of England and Channel Islands region.
