UnitedUs announced as awards finalists for best use of customer insight

Up against household names like Dell, Just Eat, Coop and Transcom, the agency is in the running to scoop the Best Use of Customer Insight award for its work with non-profit organisation Helpforce, which recruits volunteers into the NHS.

UnitedUs worked with Helpforce between June and December 2018 to deliver a rebrand, new website, narrative structure, audience segmentation and marketing collateral, culminating in the launch of #bethehelpforce – a call to the nation to get involved with NHS volunteering. Featured in The Daily Mail in December and backed by famous faces including HRH the Prince of Wales and Theresa May, it increased the NHS’ volunteers by a third.

Following the Daily Mail campaign, 33,071 people registered to become volunteers; a figure which has since risen to 34,000. Twenty-thousand have already been paired with trusts; improving the lives of NHS staff, patients and our communities.

Luke Taylor, Co-founder and Creative Director at UnitedUs, said: “We’re driven by a core belief that brands are the alignment of people, purpose and potential, and the Helpforce project is the living embodiment of that.

He added: “We entered this award to elevate Helpforce’s platform even higher – reaching a greater audience with the message that they too can play their part in the health and care of our nation. It’s a shining example of how branding can make a positive difference in our daily lives, now and in the future.”
