Morever wins gold at the Charity Film Awards
Brighton based creative agency Morever and Blind Veterans UK won Gold at Tuesday night’s national Charity Film Awards in the 20-50 million turnover category. The judges were unanimous in praise for the film ‘Ken’s story’ describing it as ‘poignant and impressive’.
Major Levison Wood, spoke about the film during the ceremony:
The film was one of my absolute favourites, very beautifully shot, very cinematic, but also poignant and powerful too.
With a further win, Morever have put Brighton’s filmmaking talent firmly on the map. Morever and Diabetes UK won the Bronze People's Choice Award in their category for their film ‘You’re Not Alone’ - which shows the emotional impact of diabetes.
