MPB Listed In The Sunday Times Sage Tech Track 100

The Sunday Times Sage Tech Track 100 has featured Brighton-based photography platform MPB for the third time, confirming the ongoing success of the recommerce company. The league table ranked MPB as the highest placed company in the photography industry and 95th on the list overall. Over the past three years, MPB has achieved an annual sales growth of 50%—bringing its sales to £44.2million.

Matt Barker, CEO and founder of MPB, said:

"The photography industry offers one of the greatest opportunities for a sustainable circular economy. At MPB, we’ve been propagating that model since we began in 2011. We will continue driving our platform to make sure that more photographers have access to more kit—more affordably and more sustainably—as we continue our expansion into 2021.”

Globally, more than 250,000 creatives trust the MPB platform for their kit needs. Plus, MPB provides more than £250m in quotes to sellers each year.

Backed by leading investment firms Acton, Mobeus Equity Partners, Beringea and FJ Labs, MPB has continued to increase its global reach. Headquartered in Brighton, MPB launched US operations in New York in 2017 and will open a new operation in Berlin by the end of 2020.
