The Challenge

Too Good To Go are one of the leading app based brands fighting food waste across the globe, with over 2.7 million users in the UK alone.

The challenge set was to create an advertising campaign targeting Londoners to increase the number of meals saved from going to waste, as well as increasing brand awareness.

The objective was to empower the audience, creating a feel good factor by saving meals and at the same time, a sense of discovery by finding new, delicious food locally.

Although working with the existing brand and guidelines, there was an appetite to evolve the brand further and explore the use of photography.

The Results

The campaign concept featured three perilous scenarios where food was about to meet its untimely end – with a call to action for the audience to step in and save the day (or meal)!

These featured across 2,200 tube ads on the London Underground, Timeout, The Metro and were brought to life on social media by animating all three scenarios into one, playful story.

We collaborated with our favourite animators over at Buff Motion with sound design by the talented James Locke-Hart.
