Who we are
By means of an introduction, I am Katie Lineker, a freelance Marketing, Communications and Content Manager based in East Sussex. Primarily, I support the visual arts sector within the South East region to help increase their online presence, growing their audiences and promoting their programmes.
Having worked in Marketing, Communications and Project Management, both agency and client side, I have strong project management and communication skills. I have produced multiple digital creative projects for clients such as Nickelodeon, BP, Barclays, Bupa and most recently for clients in the visual arts sector in the South East of England.
What we do
Each client has a unique set of requirements and I work with them to define their messaging and to devise and implement their marketing and communications strategy. Each client is is also at a unique point of this process and therefore my approach is bespoke to fit appropriately to this.
Having worked within the digital sector for many years, I have working experience of producing and creating rich media assets including photographic, video and graphic content, which I offer my clients. As well as this, I am able to offer website management from end to end website design, build and go live process through to the day to day running and maintenance of their CRM. I understand the importance of truly engaging content.
Most commonly, I work with my clients in the following areas:
Strategic messaging and approach
Content production and management
Social media channel management & reporting
Website management & reporting
Newsletter content writing, delivering & reporting
Assisting with the organisation of events both online and offline
Promotion of events / exhibitions / initiatives / workshops
Who we do it for
I bring my background of digital, marketing and communications experience to the arts and charity sectors as well as working with new business start ups and enterprises. With a working understanding of audiences, I am familiar with the nuances and challenges faced within these landscapes, which feel more important now than they ever have done.
During my time working for charities both in the education and arts sector, I have grown incredibly passionate about what the arts can offer in terms of enrichment, opportunity, diversity and inclusivity especially in areas where barriers to access are prevalent. These principles of accessibility, diversification and inclusion are key to any business's audience growth and retention and are experiences that I draw upon when working with my clients. I enjoy developing relationships with clients and love communicating to stakeholders at all levels. I believe that the great work my clients do deserves a voice.
