Who we are

Ann Longley, Founder Something New Together

Ann is a strategy and engagement specialist who uses her digital and design skills to galvanise people around shared causes and innovative design solutions. She focuses on solving complex and social and organisational challenges, creating new products, services and ‘people-driven’ brand experiences.

Ann has held digital leadership roles with Lambeth Council, the Prince’s Trust, Disasters Emergency Committee, and Hays. She spent five years as a digital strategy innovator at WPP, and worked in product design and development with Nesta and Oneworld on cutting edge digital, mobile, wearable, and haptic prototypes.

She was a visiting lecturer with Greenwich University from 2011-2019.

What we do

Ann facilitates design sprints and leadership webinars based on an approach to workplace resilience that draws on the psychology of change, design thinking and agile culture.

Ann also provides digital planning and consultancy services including digital and customer experience audits, persona development, customer journey mapping, value propositions.

Who we do it for

Ann works directly with clients (any size or sector) or in partnership with digital and design agencies.

Recently her leadership webinars have been delivered with ACEVO, the University of Southampton, Digital Leaders Virtual.

As a Fellowship Councillor and member of the Digital Steering Group, she directed the inaugural RSA Digital Summit, engaging RSA Fellows in designing digital tools for a better society.
