Who we are

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.

What we do

We offer a comprehensive range of qualifications and services for 16-19 year olds, adults and employers.

Courses include:
Art, design and media
Theatre and prop making
Web development
Games design
Music production
Human resources, management and accounting
Teacher training

We also deliver bespoke training for employers and apprentice recruitment services.

Who we do it for

We teach around 3,500 16-18 year-olds, 1,000 undergraduates, 7,500 adult learners and 800 apprentices at five campuses across Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing.

More than 1,000 expert staff work with our students to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare them for the world of work or get ahead in their career.

Our industry recognised courses can lead to further study, a career change or open up job opportunities.
