About the event

Finding a way that those who work for themselves can be protected - both through the current challenges and into the future.

The coronavirus crisis has highlighted the insecure and uncertain environment that freelancers and self-employed workers operate within.

As the members club for self-employed innovators, The Projects is working to find a way that those who work for themselves can be protected - both through the current challenges and into the future.

On Tuesday 31st March at 12pm, Beth Lewis, Operations Manager at The Projects, will chair a discussion on what needs to be done now and going forward to provide security for the self-employed. Beth will be joined by:

Caroline Lucas, MP for Brighton Pavillion

Phil Jones, MD of Wired Sussex

Celine Thomas, Equal Pay Representative for the Women's Equality Party

Sarah Ronan, Pregnant Then Screwed

Allegra Chapman, Co-Founder of Brighton Digital Women
