About the event

Due to the current circumstances surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and for the safety of our attendees and contributors, Talent Fest 2020: Skills Summit will now be taking place virtually.

We know how important it is for our community to come together at this unprecedented time, and thanks to the support of our sponsors and contributors, we are still able to provide this platform to inspire, inform and (virtually) connect you with industry experts and each other.

Join us at this year’s Skills Summit as we explore, discuss and debate what 21st-century leadership means for our sector.

With thought-provoking online talks from renowned digital leaders, the day offers business founders and senior managers the chance to gain practical takeaways that you can implement within your business and inform and inspire your own personal leadership development.

There will also be a private Slack group where attendees can discuss thoughts, ideas and questions from the talks.

Keynote Speaker

Bruce Daisley, former UK Director at YouTube and VP EMEA at Twitter, opens the conference with his keynote that considers the role of 21st Century leadership and how as leaders we engage and embrace the unique challenges and opportunities we face today.

Bruce has been described as "one of the most talented people in media” by Campaign Magazine and runs the top business podcast “Eat Sleep Work Repeat” that focuses on happiness at work. His first book “The Joy of Work” shares his practical knowledge on how to improve workplace culture and was a Sunday Times #1 bestseller.

Talent Fest 2020: Skills Summit is part of a week-long skills festival for the digital sector. It is supported by many of the city’s digital and tech companies who are all committed to making the Sussex region the best place for anyone to have a fulfilling digital career.

A huge thanks to our headline sponsor American Express, sponsor Bright and supporters Plus AccountingCogappBuff Motion and Leaders Plus, without whom this festival would not be possible.

We are committed to supporting diversity and inclusivity in our sector and have worked to make this event open and accessible to all. If you wish to discuss any barriers in engaging with this event, feel free to get in touch:
