From Brighton with Love: Expert Panel Event

Thu 04 Mar 2021
15:00 - 16:00
Online Event

About the event

Brighton and surrounding areas have some very successful exporters within its business community – and some are less well known here than others.

Brighton & Hove is also recorded as having one of the highest numbers of knowledge exporters selling their services outside the UK.

Taking the steps to start exporting your products or services could be a pivotal point in your business journey. But not all business owners and managers include this in their growth strategy. Our panel of experts, however, do.

Join us at this panel event and find out why exporting works for them, how to do it, and who can help you. You can expect plenty of practical take-aways, examples of mistakes and successes, as well as inspiration and motivation to encourage you to think global.

Panelists include:

  • Karl Barrett, Operational Director Roja Parfums
  • Jeff Haywards, Director, Wildwood PR
  • Elizabeth Spencer-Phillips, Founding Director and MD, Caburn Hope
  • Chloe McKenna, Director of New Business at Oban International

Chaired by Pete Jenkins, CEO at Gamification+

Pete is an Export Champion for the Department for International Trade and winner of a BOFTA (Board of Trade Award for Export). Pete also spent 11 years as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Brighton Business School and continues to run his own successful business Gamification+, exporting gamification knowledge and skills around the world.
