Talent Fest | Pitch & Present with Louise Stevenson image

Join us at The FuseBox for a fun workshop exploring how to inject your own sense of humour into your job interviews, pitches, and presentations.

How do we engage with our audience? Do we have to leave our personality at the door when it comes to presenting?

We’ve a lot to learn from TED talks on content, delivery, and timing. The main denominator of the top successful TED talks from last year was that they all contained humour.

If you’d like feedback on a presentation or pitch, then please come with 2-3 mins max to present on the day, and Louise will happily give you feedback on delivery, timing, content and audience engagement.

Free and open to all.

Public speaking has evolved over the years and is no longer stuffy, formal and doesn't have to be scary, so - breath and enjoy! We're going to have fun...

Talent Fest 2021

Talent Fest is a five-day event to boost our region’s thriving digital industry; helping businesses hire, nurture and keep the most talented people – the people we need, to grow and deliver great work.

Now that we are emerging from a year of lockdown and uncertainty, it’s time to start planning the future for digital businesses. How can we best connect jobseekers, graduates, career switchers and returners to work, from diverse backgrounds and outside of our Brighton bubble with rewarding, fulfilling work?
