About the event
You're invited to an intimate one-day peer-to-peer conference, where CEOs, creative leads and start-up founders join inspiring leaders and thinkers for a conversation about our sector’s biggest business challenges.
The last two years have seen the greatest, most sudden change in the way we work and do business in living memory.
Alongside a range of talks from some of the most prominent people and companies in Sussex's digital sector, sharing their expert insights and advice around attracting, training and retaining talent, the day will also involve a workshop where we want to hear from you – what are the biggest challenges that you're facing?
- What does the future hold for leaders?
- What can we learn from each other in the way we are adapting?
- What are the remaining challenges? How can we tackle them together?
Everyone will have their voice heard at the special ‘world café’ style workshop, facilitated by Helen Kennedy, Professor of Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Nottingham.
This summit brings together leaders to explore these themes, share experiences and learn.
A delicious lunch will be provided, as well as refreshments throughout the day, courtesy of our sponsors, Plus Accounting.
Our Host:
Sophie Davies-Patrick, CTO at MPB
Sophie Davies-Patrick is the Chair of the Wired Sussex board and the Chief Technology Officer at MPB, the world’s largest online platform to buy, sell and trade used photo and video kit.
A transformational leader, Sophie brings over 25 years of experience across several key engineering, project management, and director roles in tech.
Since joining MPB, Sophie has driven better customer value through the innovative use of technology, which is one of the key reasons she won “CTO of the year” in the 2021 Women In Tech Awards – just 10 months into her first CTO role.
