Q: What does Wired Sussex do?

A: We are an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation for digital, media and technology companies and freelancers based in Sussex. Our aim is to support and grow this fantastic sector and to help our members thrive through a number of services, initiatives and events.
 

Q: What are the benefits of membership?

A: Whether you’re a freelancer, start-up or an established enterprise, there are lots of benefits to membership which you can find here.
 

Q: How much does membership cost?

A: Membership costs £72+VAT per year (just £6 per month).

 

Accounts

Q: How do I sign in to my Wired Sussex account?

A: If you’re an existing member or an employee of a member company, navigate to the orange ‘Member Sign In’ button in the top right of the main website, enter your email address and password and click 'Sign in'. Or click here to go straight to the sign-in page. 


Q: I've forgotten my password. What now?

A: If you've forgotten your password or haven't not logged into your account for a while, click here to go to the Member sign in page and click 'Forgot Password?'. Enter your email address on the following page and select 'Reset'. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. If you're still struggling, drop an email to info@wiredsussex.com and one of the team will be happy to help. 
 

Q: How do I update my company information?

A: To make changes to your business profile, log in, click the green ‘Account’ button in the top right and then click into your ‘Member dashboard’. 
 

Q: What can I do to raise my profile on the Wired Sussex website?

A: There are lots of ways that you can promote your business and services through the Wired Sussex site, from personalising your directory listing with useful info about what you do, to sharing news and showcases of your success stories and client portfolio.

Q: How do I cancel my membership renewal?

A: If you're on an annually auto-renewing membership subscription, you can either get in touch with one of the team to cancel your renewal, or do it yourself by logging into your membership account here. Once logged in, click the turquoise 'Account' button in the top right-hand corner, then click into your Member Dashboard. Click 'Membership' on the left-hand side, then click 'Cancel auto-renew'. 

Make sure you also cancel your payment to us, or let us know that you would like us to cancel it, or you may still be charged.

Job Seeker

Q: Where can I find the Wired Sussex Jobs site?

A: We have a dedicated Jobs site, built by recruitment technology experts Madgex, separate to our main website. You can find it here or by navigating to the ‘Jobs >’ button in the main website’s menu. 
 

Q: How do I create a job seeker profile? 

A: Starting on the Wired Sussex Jobs site, select 'Create a job seeker account' in the top right corner. Add in your details and click 'Sign up'. You can now save jobs for later and set up bespoke job alert emails, as well as viewing any of your applications. 

Q: I'm looking for advice/support with my job search. Can Wired Sussex help?

A: Yes! We have a Careers Advice section on our jobs site, which is there to help inform job seekers about some of the most popular career paths in the digital, media and tech sector. You can access this here. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us on info@wiredsussex.com and one of the team will be very happy to help. 

 

Recruiter

Q: How do I post a job?

A: Follow this link to sign in to your recruiter profile and upload your advert.

Q: How do I reset the password for my recruiter account? 

A: You can reset your password for the Jobs site here - or by navgiating to 'Jobs >' on the main website menu, clicking the orange 'Advertise a Job' button and going to 'Sign in', where you will see a 'Forgot password?' link. Enter your email address and hit the 'Reset' button. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. 

Please note that users for the Wired Sussex Home site and Wired Sussex Jobs site are hosted separately, meaning your sign-in details won't automatically be the same for both sites. In other words, you won't be able to sign into the Jobs site with your membership details, and vice versa.
 

Q: How much does it cost to advertise a job?

A: The cost of advertising on Wired Sussex is based on the size of your company and what package you choose. You can find a break down of costs here.

 

Q: I have a small or medium business and receive a discount on advertising. Where do I add my discount code? 

A: To apply your discount code, at the checkout page enter either WIREDSMALL (for 1-10 employees) or WIREDMEDIUM (for 11-50 employees) in the 'discount' field, and click 'Apply'.
