Job Description:

We’re looking for a Database Developer (Junior DBA/ETL) to join our Data Team. You will be working with your team to perform daily monitoring, support and maintenance of our existing Database infrastructure whilst working to migrate our new client’s data from their existing suppliers into our data centre.

Essential skills: 

  • Experience with SQL Server 2012 or above (6 months +)
  • Experience writing TSQL (1 Year)
  • Knowledge of writing Powershell
  • Excellent communication skills and good attention to detail
  • Able to be on call and support out of hours/weekend migrations when required.

Desirable skills: 

  • Managing database in AWS
  • Supporting Postgres Databases
  • Bash scripting.
  • Experience of migration data using ETL technologies.

Who You Are:

You may be a Software Developer with experience in building databases, a Sys Admin who has looked after a SQL Server and wants to learn more, and an ETL Developer wanting to expand your skill set. Alternative you could be fresh out of University with heaps of ambition and a passion for databases.

Ultimately you are a person who is conscientious, has an eye for detail, and produces high quality work.
