An amazing opportunity to work alongside a lifestyle blogger in Brighton. I am looking for a highly creative, proactive, organised, enthusiastic individual with a passion for making online content to support myself and my brand.

The content I create varies from style to travel to beauty and food. I’m looking to expand my blog into new avenues and would love for someone to join me along the way to help make this happen and create some amazing top quality content.

The role will require a variety of different creative aspects such as photography, graphic design, video, animation, creative management and more! The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of current blog trends and have a passionate interest in social media – everything from Instagram stories to Twitter!

No two days will be the same and the role will have a lot of variety where you’ll be working on something different every day. Therefore, you will need to be someone who loves working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys spontaneity and can work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

Job Description:

-Designing mood boards, social media posts and other online content.
-Creating animations and GIFs when necessary and if needed.
-Taking photographs of products in a creative and visually appealing way.
-Taking photographs of me for my website and social media pages – this could be on location or in a studio.
-Sourcing locations for shoots.
-Editing images so that it fits within a theme.
-Researcher responsibilities such as setting up backgrounds, photo shoots and putting away equipment after use.
-Sourcing props and coming up with new imaginative ideas and concepts.
-Assist in blog planning, including tracking trends and coming up with creative ideas.
-Regularly scheduling social media posts and designing up assets and teasers for upcoming announcements and products.
-Working on other ad hoc projects.

Skills Range:

-Ideally experienced in using Adobe CS, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Light Room
-Skilled in typography and animation
-Flexible approach to working hours (may be expected to work on the weekend or evenings)
-A good understanding of social media and blogs
-Confident in decision making
-Ability to use initiative, think outside the box and go the extra mile
-Team player with a can-do attitude to all projects, positive energy and enthusiasm
-Brilliant administration, organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
-Ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively on the phone, via email and/or in meetings.
-Ability to deliver work on time and have strong ambition and work ethic.
-Right to work within the UK
-Must have clean driving license

To note:

the role is currently part-time - Tuesday and Wednesday ideal, but flexible.

Horus: 10 – 6 with a 1-hour lunch break.

Weekend and evening work when required.

Brighton based, but may be required to work from home on some occasions or from set locations.

Ideally to start ASAP to begin Christmas content planning.
