Job Description:

Working within a likeminded team, supporting existing products and delivering new innovative web based offerings through in-house engineered frameworks and SDKs that test status quo. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain diverse database driven web applications
  • Develop new and re-engineer existing product components to meet future customer needs through technology platform changes
  • Break down large scale projects into manageable pieces and work with the Technical Project Manager to ensure these get cascaded through the team Essential
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Classic ASP and ASP.NET / C#
  • Commercial experience using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and associated web technologies
  • Experience of related tools/frameworks, including LESS/SASS, jQuery, and Bootstrap (or equivalent)
  • Experience with querying data from various data sources, namely databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server using TSQL)
  • Understanding of user experience design, testing, web accessibility, standards compliance and cross platform compatibility.

 

Familiarity with some of these: 

  • Business Intelligence (understanding requirements and translating those into deliverables) Network Protocols (TCP/UDP)
  • Web Services (e.g. REST / SOAP).
  • XML (XSD, XSLT)
  • Cryptography A degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics would be beneficial.
