Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity. One that will enable you to develop skills in an award winning, global business. Here at Kineo, a City & Guilds Group business, we create better learning experiences for our clients and use technology to shape workplace learning.

We work closely with a wide variety of suppliers that help us deliver services to our clients. In this role you’ll provide the right environment for attracting and managing them. You’ll also make sure our processes are consistent and comply with ISO and similar standards.

What will you be doing?

With administrative support, some of your key areas of activity will include:

Capacity planning – working with team leaders and production managers to understand future resourcing needs and how they will be met, advising on supplier availability, costs, and suitability

Supplier management – accountability for the engagement of any supplier across our UK business, ensuring that procurement governance is achieved efficiently and that contractors are managed to agreed principles

Compliance and quality management – managing processes that meet the requirements of, for example, ISO quality standards, customer feedback processes, business continuity and disaster recovery, and GDPR

Resourcing – working with HR colleagues and hiring managers to ensure effective recruitment and hiring decisions, covering both freelance and permanent resourcing.

 
Skills Range:

ISO skills and experience especially desirable.

 
Person Specification:

To meet the challenge of this role you’ll need significant exposure to supplier, resource and capacity management, from an ISO or similarly accredited environment. Your experience should include sourcing resources through a variety of channels.

You’ll need an excellent understanding of commercial and supplier management techniques, as well as an appreciation of the different skills needed in eLearning and learning management systems. You’ll be a great networker, be passionate about making teams work well, and have the ability to analyse and extract information to identify trends and ensure continuous improvement.

Finally, we need someone who is be able to solve problems imaginatively and quickly in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
