Paladone is a wholesale giftware company with offices in the UK, US and Hong Kong. We design and distribute directly from our Head Quarters in Shoreham-By-Sea UK, Texas US and the Far East. Along with our own branded products, we offer a comprehensive range of licensed giftware. We work with many exciting mainstream brands such as Disney, Harry Potter and DC Comics, and we develop, design, manufacture and wholesale a wide range of gifts and novelties for our retail partners in the UK and around the world.

Having enjoyed continuous growth we now have ambitious plans to accelerate our international growth so we are looking to recruit a highly organised Designer to sit within our Design Customer/Marketing team.

Job Description:

The role will involve a variety of marketing projects and designing product, packaging and style guide designs for UK and worldwide customers! You will become an integral part of the design team in driving the success of Paladone at this incredibly exciting time.

  • Designing style guides
  • Applying style guides to packaging cutter guides
  • Redesigning existing product artworks
  • Designing concepts
  • Producing on shelf diagrams for customers
  • Applying back of pack artwork
  • Amending cutter guides
  • Producing mock-ups of packaging designs (training will be provided)
  • Marketing Design work includes: Designing catalogues, flyers, supplements, web banners and trade show and exhibitions designs
  • Other general day to day Design work may include: Taking photographs of products and photography retouching
  • Attending relevant internal or external meetings as required


Skills Range:
  • Ideally you will have a minimum 1-2 years' experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop & In Design (Speed in illustrator essential)
  • Microsoft office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Methodical in approach and highly organised
  • The ability to understand and work to a brief
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and to manage under pressure
  • The ability to multitask on many projects at a time
  • Must be adaptable and flexible and can work well within a team
  • Confident in setting up artwork files correctly
  • Some degree of commercial awareness
  • Photography skills an advantage

Additional Information:

Core office hours are 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday but we also offer flexi time hours.
