We’re looking for a Business Development Manager for the EMEA regionto join our busy, ambitious sales team. We work with the world’s leading brands and we have big plans to grow our business across the region. You will be hunting for new business for us across the region in our defined market sectors.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager for the EMEA regionto join our busy, ambitious sales team. We work with the world’s leading brands and we have big plans to grow our business across the region. You will be hunting for new business for us across the region in our defined market sectors.

 
Skills Range:

The role is all about researching, targeting, finding and closing new business in our target market sectors and regions. We look for new business in a range of sectors including publishers, news organisations, and digital businesses.

We have a great reputation, great products and new products launching soon. This is about using that reputation and our fantastic technology to find new opportunities for us. The role is consultative, so you will need to understand the businesses we want to sell to and listen to what they are saying about their strategy. You will be responsible for representing Madgex at a senior level to drive new business hunting to hit our ambitious targets.

To do this successfully, you will need to understand Madgex products and strategy and how this fits with the markets we sell into. You will need to understand the competitive market and network well in the industry.

At Madgex, you will need to work closely with project, marketing, product and other teams, and feedback any market knowledge you learn when you are out on the road.

 
Person Specification:

Your main objectives will be to ensure we keep growing our market share and that you sell the value of Madgex effectively.

You will have:

  • An understanding of, and an interest in digital advertising and multi-media classified markets
  • A strong consultative sales background, with experience in selling B2B software or IT related services in face to face meetings up to Board level
  • Proven experience in winning new business – we want to hear about the deals you have found and closed
  • An understanding of data driven business decisions and digital technology
  • Great commercial awareness and understanding of complex business models
  • Evidence of a track record of success in technology sales, ideally SaaS sales
  • Experience in driving complex sales through to contract signature
  • Fantastic communication skills with confidence in your presenting style to groups of people

Key Area: Sales Sales
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 OTE
Attendance: Full-Time
