Sensible Development are a small, friendly, laid back, Brighton company who develop highly scalable online (timed) & live auction websites. We are based in Preston Circus, with clients in North & South America, Africa, Australia and UK wide. We regularly have auctions of high value turnover. Precision and accuracy is key. Auctions run on our platform regularly exceed turnovers of £500k and beyond.

Job Description:

We are seen as market leaders in the coffee sector where we have help our clients set record breaking prices for Speciality Coffee this year. We also specialists in the industrial machinery and asset disposal sector working with a number of clients. We have clients in the financial and fundraising sectors. We are now looking for a Sales and Project Administrator to support our busy office and work closely with the project Manager and Managing Director.

Skills Range:

You will work on:
• Keep auction calendar and managing director’s diary up to date so that the whole team knows what is happening.
• Update the website and assist with news bulletins to existing clients.
• Keeping Social Media for the company relevant and up to date.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns
• Assist the project manager to keep the product backlog and project management file system is up to date.
• Assist with preparation of new sites and auctions - training will be given.
• Responding to requests for trial sites and managing email correspondence for this
• Generating slide decks, emails and reports as required
• Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment and supplies
• Answering Incoming calls and directing them to the right person
• Look at analising and revising operating practices to Improve efficiency

Person Specification:

You will have:
• IT literacy; experience of word, excel, PowerPoint, access database software and be handy on a Mac.
• An understanding of Digital and a passion to work in the industry
• Proven experience of administration and secretarial skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Able to work on your own initiative.
• Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information.
