Job Description:

Reports to: Head of Production

Overview

As a Project Manager you'll thrive on working in a fast-paced environment, delivering best-in-class custom elearning solutions with some of the best people in the industry.

You'll take delight in fostering and developing great rapport and relationships with Brightwave's global clients, and working collaboratively with our internal and client-side teams to deliver bespoke e-learning solutions, in accordance with the Company's prescribed standards of quality and excellence and within the agreed parameters of budget, schedule and margin requirements.

You'll have a sharp commercial brain and will be responsible for ensuring projects deliver revenue for Brightwave against team and individual targets bids and that costings for your clients are fit for purpose and consistent with other work or bids for the same client.

Responsibilities

  • To manage the design, development and delivery of bespoke e-learning solutions, usually with the support of a Project Co-ordinator.
  • To achieve agreed revenue targets.
  • To ensure that the Brightwave project team focuses on solutions that deliver business impact and client satisfaction.
  • To actively manage clients so that project time, budget and quality targets are met whilst building client trust and satisfaction.
  • To adhere to Brightwave quality procedures and project controls.
  • To plan, monitor and control project budgets; and manage and schedule project tasks within your teams
  • To communicate regularly to clients, your Head of Production and Brightwave management on the progress of each project and keep a log of activities.

Activities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects including facilitating the definition of project scope, objectives and goals, and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements, develop project plans and assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and manage project budgets and resource allocation
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Adhere to and promote Brightwave's quality assurance procedures
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders, both to clients and internally
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Prepare post-project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Manage post project processes including gathering testimonials, permissions to demo, and monitoring of success with the client
  • Estimate costs and revenues on your projects each month and report regularly to the Head of Production on project progress and revenue recognition against team targets

  • A professional, dynamic and positive attitude.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to understand a project's business drivers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to work confidently with both internal and external stakeholders in order to secure optimal outcomes for the business.
  • Proven track record of managing e-learning or multi-media projects up to 50k
  • Creative approach to multimedia/online development and a broad technical understanding of technologies used in multimedia development.
  • Understanding of the e-learning design and scriptwriting process.
  • Genuine and enthusiastic interest in technology-based learning and performance support.
 
Person Specification:

Qualifications

Ideally the candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and to have experience in a co-ordination or junior project management role.

Project management qualifications (e.g PRINCE2) are favourable but not essential.
