We carry over 2,500 product lines from some of the world’s leading brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face and many more.. Job Description:

This is a fantastic role for someone looking to make their own mark in a key Marketing role, the position is theirs to make!

The role of Marketing Manager is a key position within the business. Reporting directly to the owner and working closely with the buying function, the Marketing Manager will be tasked with helping to build, maintain and grow the marketing element of Urban Industry as we grow the business both domestically and internationally. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, plan, document and deliver marketing strategies, both domestically and internationally
  • Create, deliver, report on all campaigns
  • Analyse the effectiveness of the strategies
  • Manage social media strategies ( Facebook, Instagram etc)
  • Manage email marketing campaigns using MailChimp
  • Manage paid search campaigns (Google Adwords)
  • Liaise with our photographic studio to get the best content results
  • Manage and develop Affiliate strategies
  • Analyse market trends
  • Review marketing statistics, KPI’s and the business as a whole.
  • Contribute to weekly trading reviews
Skills Range:
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • A great understanding of social media way beyond posting and forgetting, you will understand how to communicate joined up strategies for the business as a whole and how they impact the bottom line.
  • Ability to understand and develop the right creative copy for social media posts, blogs, email newsletters and web.
  • Experience of financial responsibility as you will be planning and driving campaigns as well as managing marketing spend
  • Being highly organised and able to time manage to get the job done comes naturally to you.
Person Specification:

You will be a naturally friendly, well-mannered and driven individual, enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and small team environment. You will be from a marketing background with a proven ability to deliver effective campaigns backed by statistics that demonstrate value. You will be taking responsibility and ownership for establishing a productive marketing function within the business. A positive approach is essential, as is the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the business.


You will have at least two to three years’ experience in the role of Marketing Executive, Assistant Marketing Manager, or similar. You will have real hands-on, business experience in marketing products online (and/or possibly multichannel) in a MailChimp environment.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of what it takes to produce compelling, engaging content across email, social and store channels. You will understand that there is a bottom line and all strategies must be financially worthwhile pursuing through careful analysis of the data.

For a distinct advantage:
An understanding of the Google Shopping and Facebook Advertising systems would be an advantage as would experience gained in customer acquisition internationally. a in producing simple digital content using packages like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator would also be beneficial.
