Job Description:

We are looking for an Account Manager (AM) who can join our growing team and take on the role of primary contact for a number of our existing client accounts UK.

Reporting to the Account Manager Director is an essential role within the PeopleFluent team and acts as the primary contact for a designated portfolio of existing PeopleFluent client accounts. The AM, while acting as the client advocate across the organization, is responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction while building and executing the sales strategy within each account in order to maximize revenue growth for both software and services.

The AM needs to be adept at communicating at the customer administrator level as well as the executive level; responding to their enquiries and updating them on new product developments with the over-riding intention of providing second-to-none customer service whilst spotting business development opportunities. The AM also serves as an internal advocate for the client helping to drive support and change when necessary to help the client achieve their business objectives.

Successful AMs thrive on new challenges or problem solving and have the creative ability to recognize new opportunities. They have an excellent understanding of the sales cycle and strong communication skills, and are committed to success through teamwork whilst at the same time remaining focused on achieving personal targets and objectives and partnering with the client to increase the effective use and adoption of the PeopleFluent Talent Suite.

Skills Range:
  • 3+ years proven success in account management, direct sales and pre-sales (demonstrations) of complex software products or solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and a revenue focused approach to sales and account management
  • An appreciation of the challenges faced by high-consequence industry verticals
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Understanding and expertise in computer hardware and software including Gsuite, MS Office and
  • Flexible, organized and methodical with excellent attention to detail and follow up to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met
  • Solid strategic account planning and analytical skills
  • Strong time management, organizational and forecasting skills
  • Strong problem identification and solving skills
  • Experience creating new sales opportunities within the client organization utilizing Application Sales and Services Sales
  • Able to articulate the benefits of software to prospective clients
  • Able to rapidly assimilate and retain information
  • A proven track record of developing Accounts built on trust and confidence
  • Aptitude to quickly develop an in depth understanding of stated products and services
  • Experience in building Accounts that displays integrity and creates a trust and openness with both clients and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated support of marketing efforts across the organization
  • Experience working as part of a team in a corporate environment
  • Must be fluent in English
Person Specification:
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients focusing primarily on client satisfaction, revenue generation, and growth of the account.
  • Build strong client relations from user through to executive level
  • Partner with direct sales, pre sales, professional services, marketing, and operations as appropriate to ensure alignment at all levels of the Account
  • Conduct regular meetings with the client (both on and offsite) and make recommendations to provide continued success with PeopleFluent Talent Suite (including processes, workflows, and system configuration)
  • To lead functional product demonstrations to prospects and clients
  • To construct/re-construct all test environments necessary for demonstrations
  • To liaise with technical and other personnel within PeopleFluent in order to facilitate the construction and management of all relevant demonstration environments
  • To liaise with sales personnel within PeopleFluent in order to further develop sales growth in the region
  • To aid and to prepare RFI/RFP/Tender responses from prospects/clients in conjunction with the sales team
  • To manage all client Accounts as needed by PeopleFluent
  • To raise issues, concerns and feedback internally where asked by a prospect/client and follow through to conclusion
  • Travel throughout the UK/EMEA region is required at times
  • Develop, manage and track sales pipeline through lead generation, industry events and meetings.
  • Cultivate Accounts with all new and assigned accounts to expand product penetration.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on revenue goals for entire product suite using company assessment methodology.
  • Build, file and update, territory, account plans and strategies for each target account.
  • Responsible for identifying appropriate contacts, building Accounts with those contacts and developing opportunities. Maintaining updates in CRM tool
  • Drive sales activities in the territory and do so consistently with the company sales process.
  • Meet sales revenue objectives for the assigned territory on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate activities with assigned Solutions Consultant ensuring optimum opportunity qualification and subject matter expertise (though expected to be able to handle preliminary demonstrations and product walkthroughs on his or her own).
  • Facilitate customer renewals with assigned Account managers, minimize attrition and create up-sell opportunities.
  • Ensure every client interaction is ethical and build profitable long-term Accounts.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership team to improve performance in territory and market.
  • Maintain current and accurate data in all appropriate systems
  • Communicate effectively with excellent client presentation and writing skills.
  • Develop a consultative Account with each client and work in conjunction with Sales to provide solution planning support

  • Willingness for some amount of travel within the country or overseas on short notice to support client management efforts
