Job Description:

We are an international art publishers, printers and framers, with a design studio and factory situated in Newhaven. We work directly with galleries and artists worldwide to bring customers exclusive, museum quality images. We're trusted in the art world to supply major exhibitions, designing and printing a plethora of bespoke retail products for leading art industry institutions and our own retail website.

The design studio is at the heart of the process, and responsible for making beautiful products, and keeping the offering new and innovative. This is a new, junior role to work as part of the design team, formatting and colour matching bespoke products. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn and adapt, and help expand the capacity of our existing team.

 

 
Skills Range:

Essential Criteria

Working knowledge of Adobe CC apps (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Knowledge of image file formats including a good understanding of image resolution and colour management for print and digital.
Demonstrable experience of creating layouts for printed products (i.e. posters, leaflets, postcards)
Active interest in art and design

Desirable

Higher education qualification in a relevant area
Experience of colour matching prints
Knowledge of inkjet and digital printing

It is a busy studio, with a constantly changing set of projects and objectives, often working to strict deadlines.
