Job Description:

Location: Technology House, Fishersgate
Contract Type: Permanent
Full-Time: 37.5 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT professional to join one of the largest providers of private and NHS dermatology in the country. The service specialises in providing Consultant-led care in a primary care setting and now provides clinics at over 30 GP and Hospital based locations across the South East.

As the IT Manager for the company, you will be responsible for managing the department and IT functions across the company. The ideal candidate should have the necessary experience and technical skills in the areas of server management, networking, cybersecurity and helpdesk delivery to successfully manage a department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of second/third line support engineers, providing technical expertise where required
• Manage the IT Department budget and departmental IT planning, incl. all hardware and software assets within the company.
• Innovate and develop new systems and strategies to support company growth
• Keep up to date with new technologies and trends
• Foster a culture of innovation and learning within the IT team to keep skills up to date
• Manage all file and application servers
• Manage the company network, firewalls and Cybersecurity
• Manage Active Directory and Office 365
• Oversee the IT Helpdesk function to ensure tickets are resolved promptly
• Provide regular service reports and strategic plans to management
• Liaise with other IT services to facilitate the smooth running and delivery of clinical services at new and existing service locations

 
Skills Range:

The ideal candidate will have the following:


• Microsoft Certifications (e.g. MCSA / MCSD)
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• ITIL
• Project Management Experience / Agile / Scrum
• Experience in an NHS or Healthcare Setting
• Experience with Cloud Services and Infrastructure

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
