Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Data Strategist to work with and alongside our rapidly growing Data & Analytics team. You will be working directly with clients, peers and analysts to design and deliver cutting-edge digital marketing data strategies.

You will have an expert knowledge of the principles and techniques of data science, web analytics and customer analysis, using this understanding to design and plan advanced marketing data strategies for iCrossing clients.

You’ll use your strong knowledge of marketing technology/solutions and web analytics to advise clients on the best approach to integrate their 1st party customer data and derive actionable insights for marketing strategy.

The key responsibilities of a Senior Data Strategist include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining measurement plans in collaboration with clients and iCrossing stakeholders
  • Assisting clients in selecting marketing technology (platforms and vendors)
  • Advising clients and colleagues on advanced audience/customer segmentation and targeting strategies
  • Mentoring analysts in the Data & Analytics team
  • Developing iCrossing’s approach to data strategy by leading product development initiatives
  • You will also be required to assist in all aspects of business development, including identifying opportunities for growth, designing appropriate solutions, and presenting in pitches.
 
Skills Range:

The key skills and qualities of a Senior Data Strategist:

  • A strong knowledge of marketing technology, with an emphasis on the Google Marketing Platform / Google Analytics 360 / Adobe Analytics
  • A track record of delivering high-quality marketing data strategies, in either agency or client-side positions
  • A high-level understanding of data governance, privacy and security issues
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and influence senior business stakeholders
  • Some HTML and JavaScript knowledge would be beneficial as you may need to assist with web analytics / tag management deployments
