We are a web agency, based in Brighton, that specialises in building bespoke, web based business systems to help businesses improve performance and grow with confidence. We work directly with forward-looking companies and also in partnership with marketing agencies looking to enhance their development capability. 

Job Description:

We are looking for a new member for our Brighton based team. The primary task of this role is to update content across 28 European websites. The website content, provided by our client, is updated using the content management system Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The content will be in a variety of languages and will include images.

Here’s a quick summary of the process. You will:

  • receive a brief relating to content changes from our client. The brief is usually received as a PowerPoint or Word document or a set of notes from the client
  • analyse the brief to determine whether the request can be met
  • check whether all the relevant information and assets have been made available
  • estimate the time it will take to complete the work
  • using the AEM content management system, update the content and images as per the brief
  • check your work against the brief before confirming with the client that it is complete
  • record the time taken to complete the work.

The work returned to the client must be of the highest quality so if you don’t enjoy dotting the ‘i’s and crossing the ‘t’s, this isn’t the job for you.

Updating website content is the main focus of this role but there will be the opportunity to support the team with other tasks including the testing of new products in development.

 
Person Specification:

We are looking for someone who is diligent, methodical and experienced at producing accurate work of the highest quality. 

You will be confident with technology. It is not essential to have worked with a content management system but you need to be able to demonstrate that you have been able to quickly understand and operate IT systems / software.

You will help us maintain an excellent relationship with our client. You must be able to communicate respectfully and confidently using a variety of channels - phone, email, Slack/Skype etc.

You will need a cool head to deal with a high volume of requests, from a number of contacts with conflicting priorities. 

We need a team member who is excellent at managing and recording their time.

Additional Information:

The job is for an initial period of three months. The arrangement with our client is to be reviewed on a quarterly basis after this.
