Job Description:

Curiscope is excited to announce we are opening a position for a high-performing Sales Executive to join our team in sunny Brighton. We’re driven by an ambition to unlock fascination in the wider world through Augmented and Virtual reality, transforming reality into a magical interactive space to play and learn.

Our best known app, Virtuali-tee, is activated by an augmented reality marker on a t-shirt, it's the ultimate way to learn about the body...on a human body! We sell this t-shirt in all sizes to countries all over the world. Our ground breaking product is transforming the way people learn about the body, but as a company this is really only the beginning.

Within this role you will play a fundamental part in growing the business through new and existing channels, working with customers ranging from boutique retail, to huge city museum and onto territorial distribution partners. You’ll help us exceed our customer acquisition and revenue growth by delivering on a innovative sales strategy, leveraging a unique product that customers love from the instant they learn about it. Working closely with the CEO, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the sales plan, drives company growth and your own personal development.

Skills Range:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell to existing and potential direct accounts
  • Collaborate with CEO to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
  • Implement new/existing sales initiatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Report sales, revenue and expenses reports to Sales Manager
  • Continually assess current business distribution channels, help set up new ones and develop and evaluate their performance
  • Feedback to Sales Development Representative to improve quality of leads.
 
Person Specification:

Experience:

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative/exec, consistently meeting or exceeding targets (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization (mandatory)
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to generation to close in B2B (mandatory)
  • Experience with selling physical products into re-sellers/distributors/retailers (mandatory)
  • Strong business sense and enthusiasm for challenger (mandatory)
  • Experience of selling into educational or retail markets at scale (desired)
