Christmas office shut down
We generally close down for a couple of weeks over the Christmas period so you can spend time enjoying the holiday without fretting over your work and we don't ask you to use your annual leave for this. This roughly works out you get about 38 days holiday including bank holidays a year.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a backend developer to compliment our existing backend developers and work closely with our front-end development team. Not only will you support our account and project managers with incoming work, but you will have a prominent voice in advising project build.

 

This job is for anyone looking to next the next step in their career. Whether you are a junior looking to grow into a mid-level role or someone looking to becoming a senior backend developer, if you have the right attitude, you will fit right in.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Aid with the development of our CMS platform
  • Consult and recommend on project structure
  • Liaise with designers and customer-facing roles and help debug or explain issues in plain language
  • Work with our development team and technical director in building amazing websites and ensuring our processes and standards are up-to-date
 
Skills Range:
  • Backend experience in at least one open source PHP based CMS such as Drupal, Joomla, TYPO3, Wordpress etc.
  • Knowledge of PHP and MySQL
  • Understanding of version control (preferably Git)
  • Superb communicator
  • Command-line experience would be a bonus but not required

Salary: £25k to £45k+ (dependent on experience)
Attendance: Full-Time
