Social Media Creative Designer

We are a start-up insurance company, using insurtech and personality to bring exceptional service to business customers

We offer an exciting opporunity to be 'in at the beginning', shaping the brand for national and international markets. Although a small company, we have big ambition and work with large multi-national partners 

Our target market is independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Beginning as a team of four, we’re working closely with Brighton’s leading CX agency and two of the insurance industry’s top tech companies

We are management owned, with the backing of a leading global insurer

1 day per week Feb-Apr, full-time thereafter

We are looking for an innovative creative, a self-starter who can come up with awesome visual ideas and make them live on social platforms

As a technology native, you should live and breathe social media. You will be expected to stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies and creative opportunities

You will be Expression’s brand custodian, responsible for producing appropriate content which will help create an exciting and reputable global brand

Lead our social media presence - planning and implementing campaigns, interacting with customers and potential customers


Help to plan and implement our overall marketing mix. This will include PPC, SEO, DM and face-to-face ‘brand ambassadors’


Build your insurance knowledge (training provided) and answer customer enquiries and purchases

Rewards
£200 per day during our February-April pre-launch period
£30k salary and £4k bonus from May/June

As a start up we roll up our sleeves and contribute to all aspects of the business. Alongside your main duties you will be answering customer phone calls and interacting with all areas of the business, from sales and marketing through to underwriting and claims

You’ll have

A first or 2:1 in a business / marketing degree

Demonstrated drive in aspects of your academic or professional life
An engaging social media presence – potentially a vlogger and creator of your own visual content


A strong understanding of social media culture, metrics and promotional methods


And, ideally, some experience in customer-facing roles
