Role Overview
Working as part of a small team, the role of Web Developer is varied and will assist the IT Manager in building, maintaining and developing all front and back end systems, enabling the day-to-day operating of the technology capabilities within this busy travel firm.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Full Stack front and back end web development
- Building, maintaining and developing in-house CRM, custom-built solutions and booking system software
- Developing customer-facing website and internal Apps
- Development and maintenance of new and existing APIs used to communicate with suppliers
- Diagnosing and resolving issues reported by internal teams.
- Enhancement of existing functionality of internal products.
- Supporting the IT Manager with ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Technical Skills & Experience
- Front end technologies – JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- SQL
- PHP
- Understanding of complex workflows and challenges
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong development and support skills
Desired Technical Skills & Experience
- Experience in building and maintaining Laravel applications
- Vuejs
- Building, maintaining and developing Apps
- Previous experience in web developer role or equivalent experience
