We are based by the beach in Shoreham which is great for a lunchtime walk, team barbeque or swim in the summer. Commuting by bike or public transport is easy, or if you like to drive we have our own car park. Our directors are keen to ensure the working environment is a happy one. The Role

Benefits: £45k, 25 days holiday, regular team experiences. Free use of our fitness facility, our personal trainer can develop a training plan for you (although we are a mixed bunch and there is definitely no pressure to use the gym!).

This role will never be boring, combining management responsibility, implementation and strategy. 

You will develop a strategic roadmap for website optimisation, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand and retail experience every day of the year. UX, merchandising and CRO are your bread and butter but you also have a wider understanding of digital marketing.  You will be responsible for underpinning the website with the right systems and infrastructure to ensure a robust e-commerce platform for the long term. 

With the support of the Digitial Content Executive you will be responsible for the day to day management of the website and the implementation and performance of all aspects of online trading. 


The Team

Reporting to: Marketing Director.

Managing: Digital Content Executive (FT, Line management), Web Developer (PT, external), Analyst (PT, external).

Working alongside: CEO, Digital Acquisition Manager, Operations Manager, CS Team.


About You:

You’ll bring experience from an established e-commerce website combined with an entrepreneurial, commercially minded nature. You are someone who loves being part of a small team, but has an ambitious vision to help us continue to punch above our weight.  


  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing an e-commerce website (turnover £5m+ per year). Or 3 years working in an e-commerce team for an e-commerce company with a turnover of £10m+.  

  • Analytical numeracy acumen – strong numerical skills with experience in web analytics and reporting to inform robust business decision making. Strong Microsoft Excel and financial skills.

  • Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills.

  • Strong understanding of critical e-commerce infrastructure such as hosting and website security.

  • Experience in designing and implementing CRO tests, that have improved website, campaign, or landing page conversion rates.  

  • Project management –ideally with experience of defining requirements and managing web development projects. 

  • An organised and methodical approach to task lists and team priority setting (project management and prioritisation skills).  

  • Team work - Experience of working in and contributing to a high performing team.

  • A proactive attitude to work and the success of the business. Great communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships across the business.

  • Marketing or digital industry qualifications with a passion for keeping your skills up to date. 



  • Experience of Magento 1 and 2 ecommerce platforms 

  • Experience of working with a high-value product range. 

  • An interest in health and fitness is desirable because its useful for understanding our customers and content planning.

  • You will ideally have managed a small team and agencies in the past. 

  • Experience of delivering digital marketing planning; with evidence of performance analysis and evidence of ROI improvement from results/ findings. 

  • Marketing budget management.

  • Previous experience of digital acquisition including PPC, Affiliates, SEO and Social. You’ll be working closely with our acquisition manager so this isn’t essential but it will be helpful. 

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO. 

  • Photoshop or video editing skills.
