Together Co (formerly known as Brighton and Hove Impetus) is Brighton and Hove’s leading loneliness charity, working to create connections that change lives for the better across the city. We run Social Prescribing and Befriending services that support more than 1500 people a year and have 400+ volunteers working alongside our staff team. In a city of 300,000 people no one should be lonely or socially isolated. Together, we can make sure no one is.
To support the delivery of our core services we are hiring a Communications Assistant to join the Engagement team of an organisation that is moving from strength to strength. A recent rebrand had not only given us a fresh new look, but has also helped us rationalise our aims, align our services and further exemplify our values.
Are you a ‘people person’ who enjoys talking with people from diverse backgrounds?
Are you a great copy editor with experience of digital marketing and communications tools, such as InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, WordPress, Mailchimp & SurveyMonkey?

Hours: 11 hours a week. Together Co has a 35 hour full-time working week
Salary: NJC SCPs 4 – 11 (£18, 426 to £21, 166) + 3% employer’s contribution to pension
Status: Fixed term for 1 year with possible extension if further funding is identified
