Who we are and what we do

Bright is an established software development company and Digital Asset Management (DAM) specialist based in central Brighton. We’ve been doing this for almost 20 years, driven by the desire to produce technically excellent, valued products for ambitious clients of all sizes in many sectors.

Who we’re looking for

We are now developing a new SaaS product called Dash – a streamlined, intelligent DAM solution for clients who want to manage their digital assets effortlessly. Using cutting-edge auto-tagging, including facial recognition, Dash enables effortless uploading, tagging and sharing of digital assets such as images and videos.

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the Dash team at this exciting point where we are in a position to take it to market. You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, helping to establish and steer the strategy for the Dash brand, product and services.

You will work closely with the business development and product development team (currently 12 people) with the aim of driving the successful launch of our product in the DAM market.

You will also be a key member of our Bright marketing team, to ensure a coordinated approach across all our products and alignment with the overarching Bright brand.

You will be responsible for the whole market mix and, as such, will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and techniques. You should be able to independently and proactively lead marketing campaigns from concept to execution. 

You will be reporting directly to Martin Wilson, Product Manager of Dash (and one of Bright’s Directors), and Angela Nyman, our CMO.


  • Develop and manage campaigns and strategies to take our Dash product to market

  • Work with the team to establish a clear message about positioning, personas and use cases

  • Work closely with Dash’s business development team to generate new leads and manage the funnel

  • Collaborate with our content manager on content for Dash including landing pages, blog posts, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc

  • Plan and manage the delivery of all digital marketing, including SEO and SEM 

  • Manage our social media presence across all forms of social media

  • Work with the marketing team on our offline marketing activities such as PR and events to build our brand awareness

  • Manage our CRM database and automation experience

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals and quantifiable metrics

  • Coordinate with our CMO and marketing team to ensure a consistent message in our marketing approach, creative design and content across Bright.


  • Chartered institute for Marketing or equivalent qualification

  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and campaigns for a SaaS product

  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media campaigns

  • Understanding of web design, particularly user experience and customer journeys 

  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools 

  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with a knowledge of website analytics tools

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
