We are looking for a developer with skills and experience of C# / ASP.Net / Bootstrap / SQL / HTML / Javascript to assist us in designing, implementing and supporting various web based systems. The primary focus of this role will be the redevelopment of our data systems and creation of dashboards to provide our staff (at all levels) with high quality, accessible, accurate and informative data to assist us in analysing and improving the quality of our provision. You will therefore need to have experience of working with any or all of the following Data Warehousing / Data Analytics / Power BI / Microsoft Business Intelligence (SSRS, SSIS and SSAS) / Data Visualisation / MDX / DAX / Tabular / Power Pivot.

You will join a small team that is responsible for all the College Information Systems and as a member of that team you will assist in the maintenance of existing systems along with the design of new solutions. Whilst we are looking for someone with technical competencies, it is also essential that you have excellent communication skills and be willing to work as part of a small team as at times you will be responsible for frontline support of our systems, system administration and problem resolution.

This is a permanent and full time position, working 37 hours per week, full year. Working days are Monday to Friday, exact start and finish times are to be agreed. The starting salary for this post is £27,481 per annum. This is based on spine point 34 within grade 7 of the support staff pay spine. This will increase to £30,062 over 4 years, subject to satisfactory performance.

Holiday entitlement is 24 days per annum, plus 8 bank holidays. This rises to 29 days with 5 years’ continuous service.
