We’re looking for a vibrant and experienced sales professional to head up our high performing Sales Team and help drive our ambitious growth plans!


As our Sales Manager, you will..

  • Be a point of contact for the Sales Team across the business, building a maintaining a strong relationship with our key stakeholders

  • Be responsible for overall team performance and day to day management of the Sales Team; including (but not limited to) lead allocation, target management, management of multiple internal systems and phone cover 

  • Be responsible for support and development of individuals in the Sales Team through coaching and mentoring, ensuring each member of the team has the required skills and knowledge to provide prospects with sound, accurate and timely advice - building a winning team as Crunch continues to evolve!

  • Drive performance through incentives, actively increasing conversion and retention rates along with maximising cross and upsell opportunities; driving KPI performance across the team

  • Report to the Head of Sales & Marketing on a weekly and monthly basis, with a focus on pipeline activity, progress and achievements

  • Be responsible for risk management within the Sales function, including internal auditing of sales and ID checks on new clients; adhering to and overseeing our Anti-Money Laundering procedure

  • Get stuck in with the team, taking calls from prospective clients when cover is required and working remotely in Advisor capacity out of hours - occasionally carrying a target as part of the cover

  • Work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing to research new target markets - and with the Marketing and Content team as a whole to develop successful marketing campaigns which drive lead generation; specifically supporting with eCommerce growth and activities

  • Work closely with the Technical Accountancy Team to ensure Crunch are ahead of market trends and working inline with all necessary legislative requirements

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the Operations and Client Services Team to ensure a smooth handover process once a sale has been closed

  • Attend networking and target market events across the UK, promoting Crunch and our services

  • Shape content for and present webinars on topics of interest to our clients and community members


The essentials:

  • Experience in a sales management role and demonstrable success in creating opportunities, closing business and exceeding targets

  • Leadership and people management experience with a team of driven sales professionals

  • Knowledge and ability to use web-based CRM systems, such as Salesforce

The desirables:

  • Experience working in a software and/or accountancy firm and awareness of cloud based accounting technology

  • Awareness of the features of a ‘FinTech’ business and topical issues within the wider business landscape
