The role: 

This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills at an exciting point in the development of the business. We are an experienced in-house team with a good-sized acquisition budget. Our directors are keen to ensure the working environment is a happy one. They aim to empower talented people and reward their contribution as the business grows.

You will lead the strategy and implementation of existing PPC and affiliate channels as well as initiate new display, retargeting ads and paid social channels. You will be responsible for sustaining our traffic growth with a keen focus on the bottom line. To achieve commercial targets, you will effectively develop and report against KPIs and manage a substantial budget. Your reporting and analysis will demonstrate performance and inform the team marketing strategy and ongoing acquisition planning.

You’ll be working with the Managing Director, Marketing Director and Ecommerce Manager to inform the 3 Year business plan and marketing priorities. You will also work closely with the eCommerce Manager to ensure high conversion rates across all paid channels and brief effective ad creative to the digital content executive. Your analytical approach to acquisition will also highlight organic traffic performance, trends and opportunities to inform our content planning.

The wider team in operations and customer service are highly driven and put the customer first. They will welcome you into the business from the start and provide valuable insight into our target markets. 

If you can demonstrate digital acquisition management standing on your head there is plenty of scope for innovation to keep you interested. You will have a specific budget to identify and test opportunities to grow traffic and sales in new acquisition channels. We are also keen to develop partnerships and digital PR capabilities too. 


Experience Required:

  • 3+ years' digital acquisition experience 

  • PPC campaign set up, delivery and optimisation. Google Adwords (Essential), Yahoo and Bing (Desirable).

  • A strong understanding of key business drivers and experience of leveraging them to produce results.(Essential)

  • Analytical numeracy acumen – strong numerical skills with experience in web analytics and reporting to inform robust business decision making. (Essential)

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and financial skills.(Essential) 

  • Affiliate marketing strategy & implementation (Desirable)

  • Programmatic – Quantcast, GDN etc (Desirable)

  • Paid Social – Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest (Desirable)

  • Budget management (Desirable)

  • Team work - Experience of working in a high performing team. Great communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships across the business. (Essential) 

  • A professional and proactive attitude to work and the success of the business. (Essential) 

  • Marketing or digital industry qualifications with a passion for keeping your skills up to date. (Essential)
