The Role

On a daily basis, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of client campaigns. You will have the autonomy to proactively build strong working relationships with internal and external contacts whilst ensuring all your accounts meet minimum best practice standards.


You will contribute to the strategy & planning across our digital media client portfolio to meet and exceed their expectations, and lead the digital programme of work on your clients

As part of a team, you will deliver integrated media solutions that push the boundaries of our industry.

You will be responsible for the core channel executions within campaigns and aip product development & innovation in these areas. These channels include (but are not limited to) paid search, shopping, paid social, online display, video and audio advertising.

Connectivity and Automation 

As a core pillar of our business, we expect you to help us to connect and automate everything we can.

Within your role as a media expert, we want you to input to the development of bespoke tools that can help our business innovate, grow and differentiate from the competition.

You deliver client solutions that maximise impact and minimize low-value effort. You will have full support of our tech team and we expect you to develop our automated capabilities through identifying opportunities for automation and liaising with our automation team. 

Finally, as part of a team, we want you to develop your skills in emerging technologies and help shape our product capabilities. 


As part of our Smarter Pillar, our knowledge capabilities need to be second to none. As a core part of our team, you will work on and undertake bespoke research projects for clients and the agency.

You will help us to develop and deliver training programmes for all of our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading digital activity for client accounts.

  • Creating and developing client digital media strategies and planning supporting activity.

  • Create, manage and optimise campaigns across paid search, shopping, paid social, programmatic & display, digital video and audio channels.

  • Perform competitive analysis and identify opportunities to increase share.

  • Use various 3rd party (such as SEMrush, Google Ad Planner and Similarweb) and aip (such as aipaware, aipinsignts & Ad Monitor) tools and platforms to support these activities.

  • Analyse data to determine the effectiveness of digital media activity on channel and wider campaign performance.

  • Monitor performance and track digital media KPIs against benchmarks and targets.

  • Follow digital media trends and news and stay up-to-date with new developments and practices.

  • Communicating with clients to provide updates on the status of their campaigns and make suggestions to increase effectiveness when necessary.

  • Write report insights to scrutinise digital media performance and its contribution to client campaigns.

  • Work with other media team members and Strategy & Planning Partners to align & integrate digital media activity with other media channels and client marketing objectives.

Skills and Qualifications


  • A minimum of 3 years agency experience managing enterprise paid search or paid social campaigns.

  • Google Certified Professional.

  • Expertise in Google Analytics and ideally a Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ).

  • Working knowledge of other digital buying platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn Snapchat and Pinterest.

  • An understanding of the Programmatic landscape.

  • Strong communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

  • Strong data and analytics skills.

  • A commercial focus.

  • Time management – being able to juggle multiple activities and client accounts, ensuring on-time delivery of all required tasks.

Nice to haves:

  • Coding and development capabilities (Google Scripts, Javascript, Python etc.)

  • Experience of other marketing and media channels (SEO, TV, Video, Radio, OOH, Press etc).
