Precode is an independent strategic product design agency based in Brighton, that helps the best companies in the world create better products faster. We work with global brands, startups and other agencies to build exciting, relevant digital products.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a bright, motivated, analytical, results-driven person who thrives on attention-to-detail to help our business development guys connect with more sales opportunities. The role is called a "Sales Development Representative", which is a really dull job title. You can have any job title you like, but essentially your role would be doing the following:

  • Connecting with people (prospects) in exciting companies that we’d like to work with, primarily via email
  • To do this, we’ll show you how to research and find those people
  • We’ll then show you how to write interesting emails that the recipient (prospects) will hopefully find interesting and useful
  • And then finally, when a prospect is interested in setting up a call or meeting, you’ll be responsible for arranging that meeting for one of our sales executives

Some key things to note:

  1. There is no cold calling (unless you want to).
  2. Your role is to identify the prospect, connect with the prospect over email, and set up a meeting/call between the prospect and our sales executive


  • Identifying prospects that could be potential customers
  • Create automated outreach email campaigns to generate interest
  • Work with our leadership team in developing email messaging and content
  • Follow up via email with prospects that express interest in learning more about our services
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and our sales team
  • Research and share key information with our sales team about companies in advance of meetings scheduled
  • Maintain activity levels that generate the results needed to meet your sales goal
  • Maintain an accurate, documented pipeline
  • Follow up with prospects after meetings have taken place to obtain feedback when appropriate
  • Contribute to our SDR playbook that we will follow as we grow our team
  • Generate a healthy revenue target each quarter

What we’re looking for:

If you do not have any experience of sales or the SDR role, please still apply. All of those skills can be taught

  • It’d be amazing if you’d previously worked as a Sales Development Representative, or a Sales Account Executive,or similar role
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM and email automation software (e.g. HubSpot,, or other sales engagement platforms)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Advantage: Experience in client services
