Haysto is an online mortgage platform that makes mortgages possible for people who struggle to get one. We specialise in bad credit, self-employed and complex mortgages. Where others refuse difficult cases, that’s all we do. 

Haysto was set up because the mortgage world is broken. If you don’t have a shiny credit rating, you’re self-employed with a complex income, or just don’t fit the mould the odds are completely  stacked against you. Because of that, thousands of people have their dreams of owning a home shattered every day. 

There’s a lot of automation in the mortgage world. Most of the time, if you don’t have a shiny credit rating or an easy application, the computer just says “No”. Which means computers decide if you can get a mortgage or not based on the data you put into their systems. 

Haysto is different. Our platform develops a detailed picture of the customers' situation and uses algorithms to match them with a specialist broker who has the expertise to get them a mortgage. 

Mission

  • Create high-quality, SEO-driven, original website content in the brand tone of voice.

  • Support the client and agency team by delivering work in an efficient, timely way that needs minimal amends.

Responsibilities

  • Creating content that hits the brief: Always read the brief thoroughly, ask intelligent questions if something is unclear and create brilliant written content for Haysto. 

  • QA: be able to go through your own work to make sure you’re extremely happy with the overall output before sending it on for additional QA. No typos, sloppiness or mistakes. 

  • Deliver work on time: This brand works at speed, we need you to keep up. 

 

Person specification

  • At least one year’s relevant experience in content and/or social media

  • Degree in English Lit or language preferable

  • Able to read a brand tone of voice guide, digest it and emulate at all times

  • Ambitious and hungry to learn - self-motivated and hard-working

  • Passionate about content, social and digital in general

  • Fluent in content and social media - you know how they work, how people (and brands) use them and how to work with SEO keywords

  • Detail obsessed and conscientious - you need to be able to get the details right, and follow and uphold processes

  • Grammar-literate
