Job Purpose


BIMM currently enjoys a high profile both in the education sector and within the local and national music industry. Strong and consistent design is an integral part of BIMM’s offering, so this is a vital role for the business. We require a junior designer who is able to work closely to brand guidelines and to deliver sleek, eye catching digital and print design work. Working closely with our two senior Visual Designers you will have the opportunity to develop and cement your skills in a professional and exciting workplace.


Key Accountabilities


  • A passionate designer with a portfolio of digital and print projects
  • Has excellent knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc).
  • Is confident producing well-crafted typography in digital formats
  • Is happy discussing creative concepts with team members from different disciplines and presenting their ideas passionately and effectively to senior stakeholders & peers
  • Lives and breathes design and has strong opinions on current trends, techniques, best practices and the future of the web
  • Is an excellent creative strategic thinker, who can develop & deliver an idea from concept to completion
  • Is passionate about user experience and user-centred design and has a thorough knowledge of the process
  • Used to taking and delivering digital briefs - and how to get the best out of them by thinking about the objectives and business needs
  • Confident in delivering unique and innovative campaigns across multiple platforms including


Knowledge, Technical Skills, Qualifications & Experience


  • Strong print and digital design portfolio
  • Software skills: Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in HTML email creation a bonus
  • Strong project management skills & managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Highly motivated & self confident; positive attitude
  • Strong team player with a sense of humour, and the ability to quickly integrate into new teams
