Digital Communications Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated digital e-commerce candidate for a brand new & exciting role within our successful Head Office team. Your main objective will be to optimise e-commerce conversion, growing the Company’s digital presence alongside excellent website management.

The Company:

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of ready to wear wigs, bespoke wigs, hairpieces and headwear. Aderans UK t/a Trendco supplies top quality products across the UK through our 7 retail salons nationwide and to over 800 agents, wig salons, boutiques and e-commerce shops throughout the UK via our wholesale facility. We also supply through our website and have an extensive mail order customer base which we manage from our head office in Hove, East Sussex.

Responsibilities

  • SEO – Execute an SEO strategy to drive traffic, revenue & new customer acquisition in line with the Marketing strategy/calendar
  • Ensures SEO practices are innovative and effective in their execution
  • Management and development of the back-end experience (CMS)
  • Report directly to the I.T Support Officer on key KPIs to monitor and develop successful SEO campaigns
  • Merchandising of website content to drive acquisition
  • Assisting the management of social media platforms, optimising brand presence by seizing new opportunities, in line with the agreed social calendar
  • Create reports to monitor customer trends, automated e mail workflows & marketing campaigns, interpreting data and providing recommendations to the Marketing Manager with the relevant analytics
  • Assisting with the production of digital marketing materials
  • Drive an on-brand digital experience that creates a loyal, repeat client base

Skills & Experience required

  • Knowledge of paid multimedia platforms; Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube etc
  • Working knowledge of Adobe design programs/Photoshop, with video editing skills an advantage
  • A passion for digital marketing and an understanding of the newest industry developments
  • Strong budget management skills
  • B2C digital background experience
  • Ability to apply SEO knowledge to campaign ideas
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in website content management
  • E-commerce platform experience in Magento, Joomla, HDML, CSS, Java & SQL Analytics
  • I.T Support experience an advantage

Our Offer

  • Salary up to £25,000 dependent on experience
  • Immediate start
  • Currently remote working, then at our Head Office based in Hove
  • Full time, permanent role, Mon – Fri 9am-5pm
