The Digital Leadership Forum is a membership community of innovative digital leaders from some of the world’s leading organisations including Pfizer, Unilever, Intel, BT, Dell Technologies, GSK and Baker McKenzie. We run virtual events on a range of core business themes such as digital transformation, AI, future of work, digital marketing, and innovation.


About the Role

We are looking for an Event Operations & Marketing Executive to manage event logistics and run marketing campaigns. This is three-month paid internship with a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right person who can hit the ground running. We’re looking for someone who is detail orientated, ready to throw themselves in and a flexible team player.

Key Activities:

  • Organising the logistics for virtual events on Zoom
  • Responsible for ensuring the events run smoothly
  • Managing registrations on Eventbrite
  • Sending out event reminder emails to attendees
  • Preparing post-event surveys for each session and sharing feedback to the team
  • Managing the CRM database and ensuring accurate and tidy
  • Updating the company website with new events and news articles
  • Running email marketing campaigns on Mailchimp
  • Managing the social media platforms – ensuring a consistent tone of voice
  • Developing and updating all online and offline marketing materials
  • Upholding the brand guidelines across all marketing materials
  • Assisting with video marketing strategy
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks
  • Organising team socials and birthdays

Personal Profile

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Familiar with running Zoom events or meetings
  • MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce/HubSpot/Capsule)
  • Email marketing experience (Mailchimp etc.)
  • Experience using design platforms (Canva, Adobe)
  • Social media management experience (LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Familiar with Wordpress
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Extremely well organised and reliable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible team player, willing to go the extra mile with a "can-do" attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English






The team is based in a co-working office space in Brighton & Hove. The successful candidate must be able to travel to London when required at the company’s expense.
