Day to Day Responsibilities:
To create eye-catching trend lead product and packaging for customers and our core range
Taking product and packaging from concept through to print ready artwork
Working in collaboration with Sales and new product development teams creating graphic design for product & packaging as well as other design requirements
to produce packaging cutter guides and mock-ups to a high standard
Ensure all Q&A requirements are adhered to with all graphic design tasks.
Responsibility for the output of all print ready artwork to company standards.
All artwork output to factories is supplied in a timely manner and the correct file format.
All designs/artworks are checked and approved as required.
Applying style-guides across product & packaging
Build effective relationships, internally and externally
Work to and comply with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy at all times.
Build effective in house and external relationships with team members.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe CC suite
Experience in studio product photography
Knowledge of creating cutter guides and artwork lay-downs.
Good knowledge of Excel, Word and email.
Excellent eye for detail.
Flexible and adaptable attitude.
Experience in working with licenses would be a bonus
Knowledge of dropbox
Highly organised and be able to adapt to changing work deadlines
To be able to work both alone and as part of a creative team
Have good communication skills, both in an office environment and with customers and far east suppliers.
The ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
To take inspiration from all areas of design and think outside the box creatively
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience working as a packaging and product designer
Bachelor’s Degree in product, graphic design or graphic communication
