Project Manager - business and system change
Your responsibility will be focused on leading business and system change projects, with the objective of ensuring we meet our agreed schedule, cost and scope targets. You will work closely with the Project Sponsor and with others in the team, including project managers and coordinators, business analysts and change managers, as well as colleagues from across our business. You will need to have depth and breadth of experience in complex IT projects, integration of multiple systems (including legacy systems), and managing the full software development life cycle.
We're flexible about where you might be based for this role. Some travel into our City & Guilds Group offices in London, however, will be required when we return to office working.
About The Role
You'll be managing one or more projects concurrently, depending on the project size and complexity. This will mean that you will support the Project Sponsor in steering the project and realising the project benefits. You'll implement good governance by setting up appropriate decision-making boards, with clear terms of reference. You will also set up and plan benefits realisation tracking.
The role will deliver projects to required quality measurements, on time, within budget and scope. You will ensure that all stakeholders are aware of their RACI role on the project, as well as preparing and maintaining project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Your application must be able to demonstrate the successful delivery of a variety of projects, ideally in business and system change, managing them through the full project life cycle. You must have a good understanding of project management methodologies. You'll need to show us that your are pro-active, flexible in your approach, and the have the ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders, and resolve conflict when required.
