We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to join and help us deliver more Never Normal work. We're a Campaign Top 50 and award-winning agency, proud member of the IPA and based in Brighton. 

We'd love to add a new Desigmate, preferably with fully integrated experience, to our team this summer.

Big brands like LV=, Brittany Ferries and Travelbag have made Designate their home and we've got some incredibly exciting integrated clients briefs incoming for you to work on.

Objectives:

Retain and develop key clients through 

-                strong and effective client relationships 

-                dynamic and positive inter-departmental management

-                a well-motivated and managed account handling team

-                Support business development team as required 

 

Ultimate responsibility for the delivery of budgeted income from a given portfolio of clients, running this client portfolio as an effective business unit within the agency

 

Commanding respect and credibility both externally and internally, displaying a good strategic grip, strong presentation skills, good powers of persuasion and good creative appreciation and a passion for all things brand and creative.

Line Management:

Account Executive 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Client Management - external

Strategic direction of clients’ communication plans and campaigns
In-depth knowledge of the range of day to day projects and jobs in progress across the accounts within the team
Direct client liaison at senior level(s), including setting and running key project, status, review and planning meetings with the team
Development of close client working relationships, with emphasis on business consolidation and growth


Client Management - internal

Direct involvement in the development and sign-off of brand and creative briefs
Direct involvement in the briefing of the creative team
Ultimate quality control of all client work going through the various departments of the agency
Overseeing and taking responsibility for the delivery of client work to deadlines and budgets
Ultimate responsibility for accurate and timely reporting against all projects, internally and externally


Team Development

Direct line management and development responsibility for Senior Account Executive in the team
Making recommendations for and running internal training sessions 


Agency Management role

Accurate business forecasting – income and cost of sales – across client portfolio
Contributing to overall business cost control (overheads)
Providing input to the Group Account Director in terms of inter-departmental interaction, agency processes and systems, and client strategy
Key involvement in the agency new business process, including leading pitches
