With business growing, we're excited to be able to offer the opportunity to join our brilliant UK team as a Solutions Consultant. Kineo is a leading global learning technology business and part of the City & Guilds Group. This role is one of the most exciting in our business, as it represents Kineo in our market and involves working right across our clients, products and teams.

You should be self-led, can do, and a great team player. You must be comfortable with outbound sales and business development. You'll also have a passion for learning and technology, and love working with a wide variety of people and businesses. The role will work across the UK, Europe, and possibly beyond.

Although you'll need to be within a reasonable distance of Brighton, there’s plenty of opportunity for hybrid home working. You’ll travel to meet clients and there will be regular, but spaced meetings in Brighton for team meetings, activities and workshops.

About The Job

You’ll play a key role in understanding our market, identifying new client opportunities, contributing to and delivering our new business development strategy. Utilising your outbound sales, networking and exceptional customer service skills, you’ll be developing great on-going partnerships, consulting with prospective and existing clients to fully understand their business and learning needs, and you’ll work alongside Kineo colleagues to develop enticing solutions to match these. Through this you’ll enable Kineo to extend our reach and deliver our Group purpose: to help people, organisations and economies develop their skills for growthAt Kineo, we do this by improving performance through learning and technology.

You'll utilise strategies to identify and grow new business and consultatively sell Kineo solutions to prospective clients. Developing successful, long-term relationships with existing clients, you'll support proposal development, including pitching solutions to clients. You'll represent Kineo clients within our business and Kineo to our clients, maintaining a focus on excellent customer service whilst being mindful of the needs of our business.

The role will be responsible for meeting agreed sales targets and other key performance indicators, including profitability. You will also build supportive relationships with our Production teams to help deliver successful projects and build trusted partnerships with our clients. The role covers Kineo's full range of learning technology and related solutions, plus wider City & Guilds Group products and services as relevant.

About You

Your application will need to demonstrate a desire and aptitude for leads generation, outbound sales and other new business development activities. You will also need to show a knowledge of different forms of digital and bespoke elearning solutions, and learning platforms (e.g. LMS, LXP, LRS, social) in a sales or production capacity, although you will be able to learn more about our specific products and services once in role. You must have the ability to consultatively identify needs and articulate cohesive learning technology solutions alongside our bid team. Your corporate relationship management and development skills will need to extend to senior stakeholder level. Highly enthusiastic, you must be a flexible and dynamic individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

You must have the ability to present ideas to clients and deliver exciting sales presentations. You'll need to be able to write compelling proposals, and run marketing and networking activities, including seminars and workshops. With strong communication skills, you'll be comfortable explaining the rationale of commercial decisions to clients, communicating progress and updates to clients and colleagues, as well as communicating client requirements and proposal solutions to colleagues.

Finally, you must be a strong team player, able to drive and support both personal and team performance. You must have great IT capabilities in a range of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and be comfortable learning new applications including CRM software, Learning Platforms and elearning authoring tools.
